Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alekcey Susaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elvis Cage could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alekcey Susaev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elvis Cage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alekcey Susaev!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Susaev shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Susaev tries to clinch but Cage moves out of range.
Elvis Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Susaev stuffs the takedown.

Cage has managed to clinch.
Susaev is trying to drag Cage to the mat but Cage just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Susaev has Cage pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cage manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Susaev is working for takedown but Cage is calmly controlling the position for now.
Elvis Cage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alekcey Susaev.

Susaev tries to pull guard but Cage holds him up against the cage and eventually Susaev drops back down to his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cage is on top in guard.

Cage seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Cage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cage has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Cage loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Susaev is trying to keep Cage in close.

Cage will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cage will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cage lands with a kick to the temple. Susaev shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Susaev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cage sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Susaev wants to clinch up but Cage keeps it at a distance.

Susaev gets caught napping as Cage dives in and scores a takedown. Susaev manages to retain guard.
Cage's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Cage has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cage postures up in Susaev's guard and throws a big left but Susaev blocks it.

Susaev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cage seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Cage looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Cage throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Susaev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cage stuffs the takedown attempt from Susaev. Susaev gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Susaev enables Cage to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Susaev manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Cage's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Susaev looking to sit in guard and control but Cage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Susaev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cage controls the pace.
Cage seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Susaev for as long as he can get away with.
Cage's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Susaev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Susaev throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Cage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Cage fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Susaev, pushing him back against the cage.

Cage is taking a breather. Susaev says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Susaev is looking to break free of the clinch but Cage has double underhooks.

Cage has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Susaev uses from the top position.
Susaev throws an elbow that misses. Cage uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Susaev's guard. Nice move by Cage!

Elvis Cage overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cage postures up in Susaev's guard and throws a big left but Susaev blocks it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
