Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaine Bartheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juarez comes to the cage accompanied by INTRO - DMX. Bartheon has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartheon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Juarez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bartheon's guard.

Bartheon tries to free his leg and advance position but Juarez is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Juarez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Juarez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bartheon is trying to defend but Juarez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Juarez is nestled in close to Bartheon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Juarez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bartheon defends it well.

Juarez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bartheon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Juarez.
Juarez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bartheon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Juarez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bartheon is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
