Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Key!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Ross!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ross manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Key on his heels. He'll look to pass Key's guard now, I'm sure.
Ross stopping the sweep attempt from Key.
Key looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ross puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Ross prevents Key from improving his position.
Key trying to hold on to Ross's head to control him but Ross postures up.

Ross is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Key wants to get back to full guard.
Ross wants to stand up but Key is controlling the position.

Ross sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Key defending well though.

Key has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ross is on him like a limpet, forcing Key back against the cage.

Ross is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Key is controlling him.

Key gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ross fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ross rushes Key and presses him up against the cage.

Key is trying to push Ross away but Ross has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Key breaks the clinch.
Key looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ross leaves Key with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Key drives through with a takedown into Ross's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ross manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ross keeps control of Key as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ross tries to pull guard but Key won't allow it.

Ross has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Key is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ross stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ross wants it to stay on the feet.

Pat Key is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ross looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Key takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Ross rushes Key and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Key wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ross has him pressed against the cage.

Ross drags the fight down to the ground.

Ross kicks Key off and gets to his feet.
Ross stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Key. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Key takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Key keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ross slaps away a takedown attempt from Key, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ross misses with a body kick.
Ross wants to clinch.
Key throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Key checks a leg kick.
Ross leaves Key with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Key dives in and grabs Ross's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ross pushes down on Key's head and hops out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Ross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A nice combination there by Ross.


Key is rocked!

Ross is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Key is in big trouble! Ross is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Key. Poor guy.
