The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Jaa. No joy for Diamond on that attempt.
Austin Diamond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diamond fails with a takedown attempt.
Diamond gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jaa counters with a left to the body.
Tony Jaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Diamond.
Diamond avoids the head kick by Jaa.
Diamond looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jaa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diamond.
Diamond takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Jaa counters with a nice kick to the body.
Jaa lands a left and a right that send Diamond crashing to the mat, dazed. Jaa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Austin Diamond has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jaa connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Diamond to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Jaa!
