The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nadet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nadet throws a low kick but Man avoids it.
Nadet waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Man.

Man darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Nadet is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nadet slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Man trying to control but Nadet is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nadet had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Man defends it easily.
Man really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nadet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Man throws a big elbow that misses.
Nadet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Man tries to free his leg and advance position but Nadet is retaining full guard.
Man wants to control from the top but Nadet keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nadet throws the left hand but Man avoids the punch easily.

Nadet cracks Man with a big right hand but Man just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Nadet has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Man takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Man is letting Nadet control him for a moment.
Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nadet winds up and cracks Man with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
