Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ovidio Montego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Otter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montego comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead - Undead. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Otter darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Montego regains full guard. Nicely done.
Otter landing with the ground and pound.
Otter tries to free his leg and advance position but Montego is retaining full guard.
Otter keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Montego's head.
Montego trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Montego keeping moving, preventing Otter from controlling successfully.
Otter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Montego tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Montego wants to get back to his feet.
Montego is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Otter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Otter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Montego with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Otter connects with a nice short shot to Montego's temple.
Otter is keen to just control but Montego is a slippery customer.

Montego makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Montego.
Otter chips away with some ground and pound.
Otter stands up over Montego, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Otter keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Montego's head.

Montego had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Otter is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Montego Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Otter's back instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Montego is trying to stick to Otter's back but Otter is turning into Montego. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Montego's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Otter.
Montego is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Otter trying to control the position from guard on top but Montego is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Otter is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Otter cracks Montego with a solid left hand.
Otter is in close to Montego's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Otter cracks Montego with a solid left hand.
Otter postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Montego pulls Otter in close to prevent any damage.
Otter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Otter works over Montego with some ground and pound from guard.
Otter is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
Otter trying to control the position from guard on top but Montego is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Otter throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Montego wants to sweep here but Otter controlling him for the moment.
Montego has Otter pulled in close to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan Otter dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Montego fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Otter manages to avoid it.

Otter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
BOOM! Otter connects with a massive shot to the dome!

It looks like Ovidio Montego has been cut.
Montego throwing hammer fists to the chest of Otter. What's that going to do exactly?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Montego is desperately trying to improve his position but Otter has a good base and remains in mount.
Otter lands with some strikes.
Montego is working to get back to half guard.

Montego is rocked!
Otter lands a big elbow - Montego is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Montego is forced to tap out!
