Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, La Tigre Munanaposa!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mewes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Munanaposa.
Mewes stalks Munanaposa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Munanaposa's face. Munanaposa staggers backwards, shaken.
Munanaposa moves out of range of the strikes.
Munanaposa has his takedown stuffed
and Mewes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Munanaposa is rocked!
A punch combination from Mewes misses.
Munanaposa is still on wobbly legs! Can Mewes finish him?
Munanaposa shoots in and bounces Mewes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Munanaposa trying to control but Mewes is working from the bottom.
Mewes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mewes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mewes is looking for a kimura here.
Mewes blocks the strikes from Munanaposa.
Munanaposa tries to get to full guard but Mewes has control of the leg.
Munanaposa seems to have recovered his senses.
Mewes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Mewes wants to pass the guard but Munanaposa is defending well.
Munanaposa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mewes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mewes's back!
Munanaposa working for a choke but Mewes is defending well.
Mewes is trying to get back to his feet but Munanaposa has full control of the position and if anything, Mewes has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Mewes fending off the submission attempt from Munanaposa.
Munanaposa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mewes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Munanaposa is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Mewes tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Munanaposa goes for an armbar but Mewes turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Mewes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Munanaposa isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mewes stacks Munanaposa on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mewes!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Munanaposa is looking to regain half guard here but Mewes keeps moving and retains side control.
Munanaposa wants to control but Mewes postures up.
Mewes has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Munanaposa is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mewes yanks on the arm and Munanaposa is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mewes.
