The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pramuk listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Huffman is looking to clinch but Pramuk is avoiding it.
Huffman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pramuk pinned against the cage. Pramuk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jab, jab by Pramuk - just one landing.

Huffman gets a clinch.
Pramuk throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Pramuk swings wildly with an uppercut but Huffman uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pramuk gets underhooks to prevent Huffman's takedown attempt.
Huffman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Booker Huffman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Huffman pulls Pramuk into guard.

Huffman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Huffman tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pramuk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Huffman tries to close the distance and clinch but Pramuk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Huffman rushes Pramuk and presses him up against the cage.
Huffman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Pramuk is looking to control Huffman's arms but Huffman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pramuk has his back to the cage.

Pramuk breaks the clinch.
Pramuk smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Huffman crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pramuk - the referee stops the clock and Huffman gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pramuk. Huffman manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Buakaw Pramuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Huffman shoots in and bounces Pramuk off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pramuk wants to get back to his feet but Huffman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Huffman wants to pass the guard but Pramuk is keeping the position.

Huffman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pramuk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pramuk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pramuk!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Huffman is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Huffman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Huffman tries to roll over but Pramuk keeps him under control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buakaw Pramuk dominated that round.
That's time! Huffman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
