Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCall comes to the cage accompanied by Biffy Clyro - Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies. Hopkins has chosen Coming home -Dirty money as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
McCall slips a straight right by Hopkins.
Alex Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCall throws a leg kick but Hopkins checks it.
Hopkins closes the distance and clinches up with McCall, looking for a takedown. Hopkins pushes McCall against the cage but McCall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hopkins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hopkins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hopkins tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

McCall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Hopkins's corner calls for a 1-2. Hopkins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McCall is rocked!

McCall clobbers Hopkins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McCall misses with an uppercut. Hopkins saw that one coming.
Hopkins throws a sloppy head kick and McCall moves out of range easily.

McCall looks to score with a jab to the body but Hopkins is just out of range.

Hopkins throws a good cross that connects.

Hopkins's jab looks to have found its range, popping McCall under the eye.
Tommy McCall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hopkins thows a left - swing and a miss!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

McCall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCall gets caught flat footed, as Hopkins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hopkins trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but McCall manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

A close round but Alex Hopkins will probably get the nod.

McCall throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hopkins looks to land a combination. McCall sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Oh McCall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCall takes one to the chin there.
McCall has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Alex Hopkins seems to be getting the better of the standup.
McCall lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hopkins throws out a leg kick but McCall moves out of range and Hopkins only half commits.
McCall seems to have got his legs back now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCall takes a shot right to the bread basket.

McCall connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hopkins. Hopkins circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hopkins turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hopkins looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
McCall is looking to score with low kicks.
Hopkins smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hopkins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hopkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hopkins is rocked!
McCall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hopkins sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hopkins is still on wobbly legs! Can McCall finish him?
Hopkins drops his hands momentarily. McCall doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hopkins staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hopkins doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tommy McCall!
Tommy McCall gave a mention to Milwaukee's Best 160 (85% laundry) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
