Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Eller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Patrick Flanery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flanery has chosen Dropkick Murphys - Shipping up to boston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eller feints and as Flanery raises his hands in defense, Eller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Flanery keeping full guard, as Eller tries to pass.
Flanery looking for a sweep. Not yet Flanery, not yet.
Eller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Flanery trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Eller won't allow Flanery to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eller wants to control from the top but Flanery keeps moving.

Flanery wants to stand and escape but Eller is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Eller looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Eller is looking to advance position but Flanery won't allow it.

Flanery is trying to maintain the position but Eller is very close to passing his half guard.
Eller with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Eller is trying to control the action in half guard but Flanery is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Flanery is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Eller pulls his head out easily.
Flanery looks like he's trying to stand up.
Flanery moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Flanery has his foot on Eller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eller works his way back into a safe position though.
Flanery looks gassed!
Eller is stalling in the full guard.
Eller stopping the sweep attempt from Flanery.
Flanery manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Eller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flanery on the ground.

Flanery wants to finish this one by submission but Eller is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Flanery.

Eller wants to control but Flanery is having none of it.
Flanery throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Eller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Flanery lands a big shot there that rocks Eller but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Eller can't escape the position.
Flanery trying to control but Eller is having none of it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Flanery is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Eller is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Eller flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Flanery anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Eller and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Flanery slips an arm under Eller chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Flanery has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Flanery is squeezing on Eller like an anaconda would it's prey. Eller fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
