The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler tries to clinch up
and Besti counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Besti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lawler wants to stand up but Besti is controlling him.
Besti is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lawler wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Besti's hips, looking to push off. But Besti grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Lawler screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
