Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Morrison on the side of the head.
McGregor scores with a crisp jab that stopped Morrison in his tracks.
A jab from McGregor does it's job there.
Morrison looks for a takedown but McGregor sprawls well.
Morrison fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McGregor misses the jab.
McGregor lands a nice hook to Morrison's body. Morrison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
McGregor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sloppy strikes from McGregor. Those never looked like landing.
Morrison closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGregor circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sid Morrison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGregor scores with the left hand. Morrison knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGregor looks to land a combination but Morrison avoids it well.
McGregor throws a body punch but Morrison moves out of range.

Morrison tries to clinch up.
Morrison darts in looking for a takedown but McGregor gets double underhooks and turns Morrison into the cage.
McGregor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Morrison has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McGregor after a bit of a struggle.

McGregor is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Morrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Morrison jumps guard but McGregor stands there with Morrison around his waist. Morrison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

McGregor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

McGregor gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morrison drops back looking for a leg! McGregor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McGregor manages to kick Morrison off! Morrison jumps back into McGregor's guard.
Morrison wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving.
Morrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Morrison is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Morrison prevents McGregor from getting back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McGregor keeping moving, preventing Morrison from controlling successfully.
McGregor wants to stand and escape but Morrison is having none of it.
Morrison slips nicely into half guard.
Morrison works his way into full mount!
McGregor is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Morrison is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Morrison!
