Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Varg Veide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bunting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Veide might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bachman-Turner Overdrive - Taking Care of Business. John Bunting will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veide throws a body punch but Bunting moves out of range.
Veide throws a right and a left that Bunting avoids nicely.
Bunting has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Veide throws a quick inside leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Veide.
Bunting is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Veide.
Veide scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like John Bunting has been cut.
Veide thuds a left hand into Bunting's body.
Bunting throws a leg kick which misses Veide's front leg but catches the back leg as Veide tries to avoid it.
Bunting just misses with a punch to the body.
Veide throws a jab but it's blocked by Bunting.
Bunting misses with a straight right.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bunting, right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Veide avoids a kick to the body.
Veide moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Good work by Veide as he checks the leg kick.
John Bunting seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Veide throws a body punch but Bunting moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Veide. Those never looked like landing.
Bunting connects with an inside leg kick.
Veide blocks a low kick nicely.
Veide misses the jab.
Bunting shoots for a double leg takedown but Veide sprawls well. He's pushed Bunting's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bunting is looking to land body kicks.
Bunting moves out of range as Veide throws a body kick.
Bunting lands with a thumping leg kick.
Veide jabs Bunting to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bunting moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bunting closes the distance and clinches up with Veide, looking for a takedown. Bunting pushes Veide against the cage but Veide circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bunting loads up on a big right hand but Veide slips the punch.

Bunting misses with a right hand
and Veide counters with a nice uppercut.
Veide has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bunting tried to score with a low kick but Veide checks it.
A jab lands there for Bunting.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bunting throws a jab when Veide was well out of range.
Bunting getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bunting connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Veide fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bunting looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Good shot there by Veide.
A combination from Veide does no damage.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bunting.
Veide tests Bunting's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That has opened up John Bunting's cut even more.
Nice shot lands for Veide.

Bunting is rocked!

Veide is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bunting flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bunting is out cold! Veide holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Varg Veide decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
