Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Dipper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharp comes into the arena with Eazy E - Boyz N' Tha Hood blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dipper.
Sharp thows a body kick. Dipper tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Dipper takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Dipper tries to clinch but Sharp is having none of it.
Dipper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sharp misses with a straight left.
Sharp stuffs the takedown attempt from Dipper. Dipper gets slowly back to his feet.
Victor Sharp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Dipper.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharp keeps the fight on the outside.
Sharp scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Dipper takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dipper is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Dipper moves in looking to clinch but Sharp pushes him off.
Dipper defending well as Sharp loads up on a big left hand.
Sharp throws a good cross that connects.
Sharp fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sharp lands a really nice looking cross but Dipper seems unphased.
Sharp scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Sharp slaps away a takedown attempt from Dipper, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sharp digs a good hook to Dipper's body.
Sharp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dipper.
Dipper gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sharp scores with a hook to the body. Dipper takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sharp lands a nice hook to Dipper's body. Dipper takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sharp throws a body punch but Dipper moves out of range.
Sharp lands a jab to the nose.
That kick from Sharp tenderised Dipper's leg. Dipper is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sharp misses with a straight right.
Sharp works Dipper's body with a nice hook.
Victor Sharp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sharp lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Big Dipper has been cut.
Nice body punch from Sharp.
Dipper takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dipper takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Nice straight punches there by Sharp. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sharp.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sharp.
Sharp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sharp connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dipper momentarily.
Sharp feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dipper's calf.
Sloppy strikes from Sharp. Those never looked like landing.
Sharp smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sharp lands with a straight right. Dipper didn't see that one coming.
Dipper takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sharp fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A head kick misses from Dipper.
Sharp swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dipper.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A right-left combo lands from Sharp.

Dipper is rocked!
Sharp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sharp steps in with a hook that catches Dipper right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Sharp follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Dipper looks absolutely devastated.
