The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Natanael loads up on a big right hand but Gerrard slips the punch.

Gerrard throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Natanael tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gerrard is in Natanael's guard.
Natanael wants to control the position but Gerrard says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Gerrard works his way into full mount!

Gerrard thows a huge punch but Natanael dodges it nicely.

Gerrard is taking a breather. Natanael says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Gerrard wants to stand up. He gets to his feet but Natanael has locked on to a leg, he rolls the pair back to the ground and cranks on Gerrard's ankle. The pair roll once more but Natanael really cranks it and Gerrard is forced to tap! Great counter grappling from Natanael!
