Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick blocks a head kick by Carson.
Denver Carson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carson's waist but Carson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quick off to one side.
Quick misses with a takedown attempt
and Carson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Quick shoots in but no luck this time.
Denver Carson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dee Quick.
Quick shoots in for a takedown but Carson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Carson throws a head kick that misses.
Quick circles away from the clinch attempt

and Quick counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Denver Carson has been cut.

Quick is working to tighten his grip on Carson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Carson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Quick is really squeezing tight and eventually Carson passes out! Quick breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
