The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fallos moves in looking to clinch but belteau pushes him off.
Fallos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
belteau shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fallos pinned against the cage. Fallos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
belteau looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fallos is fending him off so far but belteau persists. Nope, Fallos circles away and we're back to standing.

Fallos has belteau up against the ropes in a clinch.
Fallos is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fallos ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fallos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
belteau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fallos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
belteau stands and throws Fallos's legs to the side, diving into side control.

belteau tries to control but Fallos wriggling away.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Fallos has left one of his arms exposed and belteau doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Fallos screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
