Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kris Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Turilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hong's entrance music is Hong Entrance Song. A fine choice. Turilli comes into a darkened arena with his song building. krolithika kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong's corner calls for a 1-2. Hong obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Luca Turilli has been cut.
Hong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Turilli gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hong throws a wild body kick that Turilli sees coming a mile off.

Hong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hong. Turilli does a little dance to reset his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Turilli.

Hong knocks Turilli to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Turilli is rocked!
Turilli holds on to Hong's head and controls the position momentarily.

Turilli takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hong in side control lands a decent elbow.

Turilli seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Luca Turilli's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hong wants to control from the top but Turilli keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hong is working Turilli over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kris Hong spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
