Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Scoth Maxinos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucky Charm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scoth Maxinos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charm tries to clinch but Maxinos is having none of it.
Charm wants to clinch up but Maxinos keeps it at a distance.

Maxinos rushes Charm and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Maxinos is working for takedown but Charm is calmly controlling the position for now.
Maxinos stalling in the clinch but Charm improves position.
Charm has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Maxinos avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Charm lands a takedown into guard.

Charm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Charm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maxinos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maxinos wants to sweep but no luck.
Maxinos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Maxinos has a closed guard, preventing Charm from standing up.
Charm trying to control the position from guard on top but Maxinos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Charm trying to stand up but can't free himself from Maxinos's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Maxinos is pressed up against the cage. Charm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maxinos down to the mat. Maxinos avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Maxinos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Charm tries to avoid it but Maxinos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Charm to the ground. Charm escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Maxinos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Maxinos.
Charm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Maxinos controls the pace.
Charm tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Maxinos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Charm looks gassed!
Charm is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Maxinos regains full guard. Nicely done.
Maxinos wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Charm passes Maxinos's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Maxinos is looking for a sweep. Charm is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Charm is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Charm is keen to just control but Maxinos is a slippery customer.
Charm looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Charm thows a huge punch but Maxinos dodges it nicely.
Maxinos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Charm on the ground.
Charm is tying to control. Maxinos wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Maxinos shoots in for a double leg but Charm sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scoth Maxinos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Charm has his foot on Maxinos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maxinos works his way back into a safe position though.

Charm looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Charm had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Maxinos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Charm Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Maxinos's back instead.

Charm looking to break Maxinos's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Maxinos remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Charm will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Charm is cranking Maxinos's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Maxinos! He's tightened the choke and Maxinos is tapping out!
