I think Mazza might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Estranged. Lou Mazza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lou Mazza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Tremblay!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazza looking to score a takedown here. Tremblay is defending well but Mazza drives through and ends up in Tremblay's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mazza wants to pass the guard but Tremblay is keeping the position.

Mazza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tremblay looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tremblay is looking to stand up but Mazza isn't so interested in that idea.
Tremblay is trying to keep Mazza in close.

Mazza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mazza advances position into side control!

Mazza goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tremblay rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mazza's guard! Nice work there by Tremblay!

Mazza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tremblay is aware though and is defending well.

Mazza had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tremblay defends it easily.

Mazza is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tremblay has his hands clasped together but Mazza extends and breaks Tremblay's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mazza.
