Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frankie Sharpe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kim Marcos!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marcos moves into the clinch.

Marcos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Marcos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Sharpe postures up and lands a big shot to Marcos's brow.

Marcos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sharpe is looking to work some ground and pound but Marcos has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sharpe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Marcos misses with the body kick

and Sharpe moves into the clinch.

Marcos is looking to break free of the clinch but Sharpe has double underhooks.
Marcos is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Marcos wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sharpe has him pressed against the cage.
Marcos has a couple of punches blocked by Sharpe.
Sharpe misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sharpe is trying to pull guard but Marcos has him pressed against the cage.
Sharpe wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Sharpe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Marcos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Marcos throws a lazy head kick
and Sharpe counters with a left and a right that stings Marcos.
Sharpe looks to land a combination. Marcos sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A head kick misses from Marcos.
Sharpe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sharpe feints a jab promting Marcos to slip. Sharpe then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Marcos slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marcos closes the distance and clinches.
Sharpe is trying to drag Marcos to the mat but Marcos just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Marcos gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sharpe.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sharpe is working for takedown but Marcos is calmly controlling the position for now.

Marcos has picked Sharpe up - he's going for a ride! Marcos dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Marcos is trying to control the action in half guard but Sharpe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Marcos wants to stand up but Sharpe is controlling the position.
Marcos prevents Sharpe from improving his position.

Sharpe has hold of Marcos's hands but Marcos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Marcos trying to control from half guard but Sharpe is working away.
Sharpe is pressing down on Marcos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Sharpe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Marcos regains full guard. Nicely done.
Marcos looks winded!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sharpe gets to his feet - Marcos follows without any prompting.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Frankie Sharpe will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sharpe throws a right and a left that both miss.

Marcos gets the takedown into side control.

Marcos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Sharpe gets back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marcos gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Marcos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Frankie Sharpe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marcos moves into the clinch successfully.
Sharpe can't get the takedown.
Sharpe is working for takedown but Marcos is calmly controlling the position for now.

Marcos has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sharpe regains guard immediately.
Marcos is breathing heavily.
Marcos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sharpe is keeping the position for now.

Sharpe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marcos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Marcos stands up and waves to Sharpe to follow him.

Marcos scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Marcos slips a nice elbow through Sharpe's hands, connecting with Sharpe's forehead.
Sharpe is looking for a sweep. Marcos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Marcos is keen to just control but Sharpe is a slippery customer.
The fighters are battling for position here. Sharpe manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Marcos wants to control from the top but Sharpe keeps moving.

Sharpe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sharpe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marcos manages to get himself to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Marcos throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sharpe escapes and throws Marcos's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Sharpe stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Marcos forces Sharpe back against the cage and clinches.
Marcos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sharpe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Marcos tries to circle away but Sharpe has him pinned against the cage.
Sharpe jumps guard but Marcos stands there with Sharpe around his waist. Sharpe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Sharpe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Marcos prevents the takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kim Marcos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Sharpe tries to roll over but Marcos keeps him under control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sharpe is staying active underneath Marcos, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marcos wants to take a breather but Sharpe is having none of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Sharpe just misses with a punch to the body.

Sharpe tries to sprawl but Marcos drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Marcos blocks the strikes from Sharpe.
Marcos frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sharpe is trying to escape the mount.

Sharpe sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Marcos is trying to control the action in half guard but Sharpe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Sharpe moves into full guard.
Sharpe keeping full guard, as Marcos tries to pass.

Sharpe looking for a guillotine here but Marcos defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Marcos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Marcos trying to control the position from guard on top but Sharpe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sharpe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marcos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marcos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kim Marcos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Marcos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
