Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ale Jarod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Spears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ale Jarod has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jarod clinches.
Jarod lands a hook to the side of the head.

Spears pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Spears has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Spears pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spears moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Jarod rushes Spears and presses him up against the cage.
Spears wants to break the clinch but can't.

Spears escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spears tries to land a front kick but Jarod steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Spears takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Jarod rushes Spears and presses him up against the cage.
Spears is looking to break free of the clinch but Jarod has double underhooks.

Spears has had enough of the clinch but Jarod keeps him there for the moment.

Jarod shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spears pinned against the cage. Spears gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jarod is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Spears.
Jarod throws a looping overhand right but Spears ducks down to avoid it.

Spears has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jarod is proving hard to escape from.

Spears is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
