Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Duhrover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksey Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duhrover comes to the cage accompanied by Doggystyle. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov lands a body shot.
Ivanov throws a body shot but no joy.
An attempted straight right counter from Duhrover misses the target.
Duhrover moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Duhrover seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Duhrover shoots in for a double leg but Ivanov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ivanov misses with a looping right.
Duhrover shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ivanov pinned against the cage. Ivanov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ivanov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Duhrover momentarily.

Duhrover is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ivanov's half guard.

Duhrover working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ivanov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ivanov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ivanov goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Duhrover turns into him and now he's in Ivanov's guard.
Ivanov seems keen to control Duhrover's posture.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Duhrover postures up in Ivanov's guard and throws a big left but Ivanov blocks it.

Aleksey Ivanov dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Duhrover displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ivanov.

Ivanov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Duhrover is staying active underneath Ivanov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ivanov is looking for a kimura but Duhrover is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ivanov to get the leverage.
Ivanov has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Laoch Den. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Ivanov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duhrover swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Duhrover throws a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Duhrover accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ivanov is looking for a triangle but Duhrover pushes his legs off easily.
Duhrover wants to control from the top but Ivanov keeps moving.

Ivanov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Duhrover doesn't defend quickly enough and Ivanov has managed to lock this one up! Can Duhrover escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ivanov on a fantastic submission victory.
