Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by NWO Wolfpack. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Rogers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a combination
and James counters with a left and a right that stings Rogers.
Some wild striking there from Rogers.
Good work by Rogers as he checks the leg kick.
James shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogers sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
James looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
James tries to clinch there but Rogers circles away.
Jimmy Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. James is in Rogers's guard.

James pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rogers is out of range and James settles back down.

James fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rogers.

Rogers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

James scores with a hook to the body. Rogers takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rogers can do to turn this around?

James tries to land a front kick but Rogers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rogers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

James escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rogers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jimmy James.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
