Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lucien Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teodora Tesic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lucien Park!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teodora Tesic!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Park counters with a left and a right that stings Tesic.
Tesic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Park defends well and Tesic ends up having to push Park into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Park effectively controlling the action here.
Tesic misses with a punch to the body.

Tesic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tesic closes the distance and clinches up with Park, looking for a takedown. Tesic pushes Park against the cage but Park circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lucien Park has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teodora Tesic.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tesic moves into range and connects with a jab.

and Park counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Tesic jumps guard and drags Park to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Tesic is trying to control the position but Park postures up.
Tesic looking to control but Park passes into half guard.
Tesic is trying to escape back to his feet but Park uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Tesic tries to buck Park off but Park is having none of it.
Park lands a few punches from side control.

Park is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tesic knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Park is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tesic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Park creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tesic sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Park has control of an arm but Tesic manages to advance to Park's back!
Tesic doesn't have the hooks in and Park manages to turn into his guard.

Tesic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Park doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Park manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Park postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Park throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Tesic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Park keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tesic's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Tesic shoots for a takedown but Park saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tesic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Park gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Park controlling from the top position.
Park working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Park preventing the sweep.
Tesic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Park sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tesic working a defensive guard but Park passes into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tesic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Park is working away from the top position though.
Park working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Park not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Tesic wants to improve his position but Park is controlling well.
Tesic throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Tesic shoots in but no luck this time.

Horrible takedown attempt by Park or perhaps it was just good defense by Tesic, which made it look bad.

Tesic closes the distance and pushes Park back into the cage.
Tesic missing with knees to the body.
Park taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Tesic decides to pull guard.
Park has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Park is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tesic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Park not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tesic wants to control but Park passes easily into half guard.
Park drops an elbow to the side of Tesic's head.
Lucien Park overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Park fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tesic sprawls well initially but Park persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tesic is defending against the submission attempts here by Park.
Park is trying to control. Tesic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tesic takes the fight into the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Park can't break the clinch.
Tesic tries a knee to the head but Park blocks it.
Tesic can't find room to land a body shot as Park controls the action.
Tesic jumps guard but Park stands there with Tesic around his waist. Tesic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Tesic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tesic drives through and clinches with Park against the cage.
Park fails to pull guard.
Tesic trying to control the position but instead, Park has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tesic into the cage.

Tesic drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Park is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Park could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Knees to the body from Park.
Tesic jumps guard but Park stands there with Tesic around his waist. Tesic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Park tries to pull guard but Tesic won't allow it.
Park is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tesic can do to turn this around?
Park lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Park drags the fight down to the ground.
Park is adopting a defensive guard.
Park is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tesic is controlling him.
Teodora Tesic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lucien Park is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Park has control of Tesic's left arm, preventing Tesic from doing any damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lucien Park showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Park, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
