Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lavern Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gharard Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C-k_3dcfNY. Gharard Diaz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lavern Flores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gharard Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores throws a head kick that misses.
Flores lands a high kick!

Diaz drives through and clinches with Flores against the cage.
Diaz tries to break free but Flores pushes him back against the cage.

Flores jumps guard and drags Diaz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Diaz content to stall in guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz wants to control from the top but Flores keeps moving.
Flores is trying to control the position but Diaz postures up.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Diaz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Flores was covering up waiting for the punch and Diaz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Flores really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Flores looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diaz is one step ahead there.
Flores wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Flores lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Diaz is trying to control the position but Flores postures up.
Diaz wants to get back to his feet but Flores is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Flores stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Diaz is looking to stand up but Flores isn't so interested in that idea.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Diaz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Flores lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Diaz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Flores's guard.
Diaz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Diaz is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Flores tries to clinch up but Diaz circles away and keeps his distance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Diaz is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That kick from Flores tenderised Diaz's leg. Diaz is trying to keep his angry face on.
Flores is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Diaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Flores's guard.
