Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sparrow might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to He's a Pirate . Jack Sparrow has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Sparrow stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Nascimento jumps guard but Sparrow stands there with Nascimento around his waist. Nascimento gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sparrow lands an uppercut.
Nascimento is looking to take this one to the mat.
Still in the clinch, Sparrow scores with a nice short uppercut.

Sparrow breaks the clinch.
Nascimento dives in and grabs Sparrow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sparrow pushes down on Nascimento's head and hops out.

Nascimento doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sparrow counters with a stiff right hand.
Nascimento tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sparrow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nascimento somewhat.
Sparrow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nascimento stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sparrow digs a good hook to Nascimento's body.
Sparrow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nascimento has time to react.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nascimento looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sparrow is fending him off so far but Nascimento persists. Nope, Sparrow circles away and we're back to standing.
and Sparrow counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Nascimento! He's just covering up as Sparrow starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
