The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Babawto with that takedown attempt.
Babawto looks to land a combination but Truck avoids it well.

Babawto throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Truck tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Babawto is in Truck's guard.
Babawto passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Babawto has control of an arm but Truck manages to advance to Babawto's back!

We've been hearing good reports from Babawto's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Truck is not content to let Babawto control the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Babawto is looking to take a break and control but Truck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Babawto is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Truck is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Babawto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Babawto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Babawto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Truck has escaped the position, nice work there.
Truck is looking to get back to his feet here but Babawto is keeping cool and he's managed to take Truck's back.

Babawto looking to break Truck's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Truck remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Babawto will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Truck trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Truck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Babawto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Babawto is really struggling to control Truck but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Babawto is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Truck with him. Truck is trying to defend but Babawto has an arm under the chin now! Truck grimaces and is forced to tap out!
