Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooten Jr lands a jab to Garrick's midsection.
Wooten Jr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wooten Jr tries to clinch but Garrick moves away
and Garrick counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Wooten Jr is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Wooten Jr tries to clinch up but Garrick circles away and keeps his distance.
Wooten Jr lands with a right hand.
It looks like Jay Garrick has been cut.
Garrick is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wooten Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Garrick is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wooten Jr asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Garrick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wooten Jr, pushing him back against the cage.
Garrick tries to break the clinch but Wooten Jr is controlling the position.
Garrick lands an elbow inside that Wooten Jr shrugs off.
Wooten Jr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Garrick is working Wooten Jr over against the cage.
Wooten Jr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Garrick smiles and moves away.
Wooten Jr throws the kick towards the body but Garrick avoids it.
Crunch! Garrick slams his shin into Wooten Jr's torso.
Garrick shoots in looking for a takedown. Wooten Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Garrick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wooten Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wooten Jr dives in and scores a takedown into Garrick's guard.
Garrick wants to stand and escape but Wooten Jr is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wooten Jr controls Garrick momentarily but Garrick frees himself.
Garrick wants to get up but he can't break Wooten Jr's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Garrick throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Garrick is looking to clinch but Wooten Jr is avoiding it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Garrick is defended easily by Wooten Jr.
Wooten Jr throws a sloppy head kick
and Garrick finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Wooten Jr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Garrick on his heels. He'll look to pass Garrick's guard now, I'm sure.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wooten Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Garrick sprawls well. He's pushed Wooten Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Garrick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wooten Jr is working away from the top position though.
