Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry circles away from the clinch attempt
and Perry holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Perry scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hangs throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Perry blocks it with crossed arms.
Perry successfully pulls guard.
Hangs trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Perry controlling the position.
Hangs wants to pass the guard but Perry is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hangs passes into half guard.
Perry keeping control of the position.
Perry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hangs on the ground.

Hangs wants to advance to full mount but Perry doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Hangs wants to pass the guard but Perry is keeping the position.
Perry has Hangs pulled in close to control his posture.
Hangs would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Hangs tries to free his leg and advance position but Perry is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hangs trying to move into half guard but instead Perry has managed to sweep!
Perry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hangs swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Perry lands a couple of digs.
Perry is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Perry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hangs is keeping the position for now.
Hangs looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hangs keeping moving, preventing Perry from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hangs moves in looking to clinch but Perry pushes him off.
Hangs wants to clinch but Perry slips to the side
and Perry decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hangs's guard.
Perry content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Perry sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Perry throwing strikes from guard but Hangs blocks nicely.

Hangs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Perry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hangs is tightening it up a little... Perry has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Perry reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Perry taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hangs!
