Parker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

We've been hearing reports that Barnett has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Barnett is trying to drag Parker to the mat but Parker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Barnett takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barnett circles away quickly and effectively.
Barnett closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parker circles away.
Dre Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Parker throws a right hand that Barnett ducks under and follows up with a left that Barnett also avoids with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dre Parker dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Parker is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Barnett like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Barnett from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dre Parker!
Dre Parker bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
