The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hartin misses with an uppercut.
Hartin shoots for a takedown but Villa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hartin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Villa moves away.
Hartin misses with a takedown attempt - Villa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Villa connects with a high kick.
It looks like Eric Hartin has been cut.
Hartin shoots for a double leg takedown but Villa sprawls well. He's pushed Hartin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Hartin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hartin walks into a stiff left hand from Villa.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Villa drops Hartin with a beautiful combination! Hartin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Villa is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Look low, kick high! Villa uses the oldest trick in the book to send Hartin tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Villa is absolutely delighted - when Hartin wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
