Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Simmons has control of Ferguson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ferguson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Simmons has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Simmons. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
