Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Zyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrin Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zyb comes into the arena with "Battle" by Gangstarr blaring out of the sound system. Chris Zyb has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dalton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zyb throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Darrin Dalton has been cut.
Zyb thows a body kick. Dalton tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Zyb gets a double leg takedown into Dalton's guard.

Zyb is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zyb content to stall in guard here.

Dalton looking for a sweep. Not yet Dalton, not yet.

Zyb decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Zyb looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dalton!
Dalton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zyb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zyb has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dalton!

Zyb tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Zyb looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Zyb wants to take Dalton's back but he can't do it this time.

Zyb working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Dalton turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Zyb off and cradles Dalton's limp body as Zyb celebrates with his corner.
