Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kar Caminsky!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
James controlling the action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Caminsky's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Caminsky bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

James closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

James has control of an arm but Caminsky manages to advance to James's back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
James is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Caminsky is persistently looking for the submission but James is defending it well.
Caminsky doesn't have the hooks in and James manages to turn into his guard.
James is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Morbid Conditioning School $600 that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

James manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Caminsky on his heels. He'll look to pass Caminsky's guard now, I'm sure.

Caminsky is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
James seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

James looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
James is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

James seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Caminsky for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

James wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Caminsky, who protects the arm well.

James takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Caminsky is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, James cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
