Osorio is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Run to the Hills. Spike Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hector Osorio's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Silva feints and as Osorio raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Osorio is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Silva, into his guard.
Silva wants to sweep here but Osorio controlling him for the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Osorio throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Osorio uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Silva throws a body punch but Osorio moves out of range.
Silva misses with a hook.
Silva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Osorio tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Osorio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Osorio.

Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Osorio circles away.
Osorio lands a nice looking body shot.
Silva is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Osorio lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Osorio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Osorio saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Osorio sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Silva's defenses. It connects perfectly with Silva's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
