The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo misses with a double jab.

Reid takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Reid drops his hands momentarily and Pablo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Reid uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pablo.

Reid darts in looking for a takedown but Pablo gets double underhooks and turns Reid into the cage.

Pablo is looking for a sweep. Reid is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Reid is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pablo has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Reid looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

That was a close round but I would say that Ismael Reid will probably get the nod.

Pablo slaps away a takedown attempt from Reid, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pablo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reid circles away quickly and effectively.
Ismael Reid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Pablo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pablo clobbers Reid with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pablo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Reid's hands.

Pablo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reid manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Reid tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pablo defends well and Reid ends up having to push Pablo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
