Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass throws a lazy right hand but Mustonen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bass blocks a jab.
Joonas Mustonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mustonen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bass defends it nicely.
Bass looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mustonen gets caught napping as Bass dives in and scores a takedown. Mustonen manages to retain guard.
Mustonen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bass is aware though and is defending well.
Bass works over Mustonen with some ground and pound from guard.
Bass throwing strikes from guard but Mustonen blocks nicely.
Mustonen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bass can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mustonen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bass is keen to just control but Mustonen is a slippery customer.

Bass got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mustonen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bass has managed to get both his arms back between Mustonen's legs - danger averted.

Bass tries to control but Mustonen wriggling away.
Mustonen is bucking up trying to escape but Bass cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Bass pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Mustonen tries to reverse the position but Bass maintains control.
Bass lands a big elbow - Mustonen is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Mustonen is forced to tap out!
