Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill Cunningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jairo hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunningham comes into the arena with Head Strong blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hernandez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Cunningham gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

hernandez is pressing down on Cunningham's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cunningham with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Cunningham wants to control from the top but hernandez keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now hernandez is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

hernandez is squirming around, avoiding Cunningham's attempts to control the action.

Cunningham is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

hernandez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cunningham manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now hernandez has Cunningham in his guard.
