Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Stevie Hinch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Barnett!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett wants to clinch.

Barnett gets tackled into the cage by Hinch. Hinch maintains the clinch.

Hinch turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Hinch cracks Barnett with a big elbow.


It looks like Brock Barnett has been cut.

Hinch working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Barnett is trying to improve his position.
Barnett tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hinch presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Hinch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Barnett is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hinch landing punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barnett bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Hinch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barnett is aware though and is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Barnett is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Barnett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hinch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barnett has managed to get both his arms back between Hinch's legs - danger averted.

Hinch had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Barnett defends it easily.

Hinch is looking for a triangle but Barnett pushes his legs off easily.

Hinch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barnett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hinch is tightening it up a little... Barnett has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Barnett reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Barnett taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hinch!
