The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurgan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kurgan lands with a good body shot.
Bunga fails with the takedown.
Good shot there by Kurgan.
Kurgan lands a lovely overhand right.
The Kurgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bunga dives in and grabs Kurgan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kurgan pushes down on Bunga's head and hops out.
Kurgan lands with an uppercut that bounces Bunga off the cage and back into range.
Kurgan cracks Bunga with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kurgan throws a series of punches but Bunga avoids them all with ease.
Bunga takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kurgan dances in with a quick combination. Bunga is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kurgan snaps Bunga's head back. Bunga stumbles backwards against the cage. Kurgan steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Bunga's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Bunga just didn't come prepared.
