Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JJ Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Mcginty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcginty swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown attempt by Junior or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcginty, which made it look bad.
Mcginty lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Junior at a distance.
Scott Mcginty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcginty fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mcginty lands a jab to the head.

It looks like JJ Junior has been cut.
Mcginty dodges the punch combination from Junior.
Mcginty misses with a hook.
Mcginty lands a nice shot that snaps Junior's head back.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Junior.
Mcginty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Junior shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mcginty looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Junior. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcginty lands a glancing blow to the side of Junior's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mcginty lands a big uppercut and Junior crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Junior looks OK. Mcginty waves Junior back to his feet!

Junior is rocked!
Junior shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcginty as he avoids it easily.
Oh Junior is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Junior is breathing heavily.
Mcginty ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mcginty with a body punch. A glancing blow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcginty is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Junior flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Junior is out cold! Mcginty holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
