The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mouth is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chan's half guard.
Chan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Chan wants to improve his position but Mouth is controlling well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mouth escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chan stands up over Mouth, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Chan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mouth defends well.

Chan tries to sprawl but Mouth drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Mouth is looking to control the position but Chan frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! Mouth grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Chan there - Mouth really paying for some sloppy defensive work!
