Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demaestri dips to his left and cracks Akagono with an uppercut!
Demaestri lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Demaestri lands with a straight right. Akagono didn't see that one coming.
Akagono fails to land with a series of punches.
Akagono tries to close the distance and clinch up but Demaestri swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Demaestri drops Akagono with a right and a left! Demaestri comes rushing in but Akagono regains his composure and manages to keep Demaestri in guard.

Demaestri got a little sloppy there for a moment and Akagono has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Demaestri has managed to get both his arms back between Akagono's legs - danger averted.
Oh Akagono is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
My spies in Lock and Roll Grappling Gym inform me that Demaestri has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Demaestri drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Akagono dives on top into guard.

Akagono tries to free his leg and advance position but Demaestri is retaining full guard.
