The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Berisha enables KarelinPalmeiras to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Berisha manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
KarelinPalmeiras has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Berisha is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of KarelinPalmeiras's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take KarelinPalmeiras's back!

It looks like Berisha might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
I really don't envy KarelinPalmeiras right now.

Berisha has the hooks in. KarelinPalmeiras is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Berisha is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Berisha has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for KarelinPalmeiras! Can he survive? No! He's out! Berisha gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
