The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick slips a jab from Luciano.
Luciano is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Luciano enables Quick to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luciano manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Luciano escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Quick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Luciano not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Quick distracts Luciano with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

It looks like Jose Luciano has been cut.
Quick works over Luciano with some ground and pound from guard.

Quick drops back looking for a leg! Luciano is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Luciano manages to kick Quick off! Quick jumps back into Luciano's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Quick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
