The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Smith.

It looks like Karataco TacoTaco has been cut.
Smith misses the jab.
TacoTaco takes one on the chin but seems OK.
TacoTaco misses with a wild body shot.
TacoTaco throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as TacoTaco backs up against the cage.
TacoTaco walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Smith looks to land a left hand but TacoTaco moved out of range nicely.

Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by TacoTaco.

TacoTaco shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense.

Smith throws a lazy right hand but TacoTaco sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Karataco TacoTaco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Smith thuds his right hand into TacoTaco's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
TacoTaco tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

TacoTaco uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Smith lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
No luck for TacoTaco with that takedown attempt.
TacoTaco looks gassed!
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but TacoTaco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smith is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Smith lands a jab to TacoTaco's midsection.

and Smith counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Smith feints and then cracks TacoTaco's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow TacoTaco down.
