And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by DeSouza.
DeSouza misses the shot to the body.
Talenworths doesn't manage to clinch there - DeSouza circles away.
Talenworths closes the distance and clinches up with DeSouza, looking for a takedown. Talenworths pushes DeSouza against the cage but DeSouza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from DeSouza misses the target.
Talenworths moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Eirc Talenworths has been cut.

Talenworths turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Talenworths wants to control but DeSouza is keeping him busy.
DeSouza tries to get back to half guard but can't.
DeSouza tries to strike but it doesn't land.
DeSouza is trying to control Talenworths's posture but Talenworths avoids it.
DeSouza is looking for a sweep.

Talenworths is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but DeSouza is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

DeSouza is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Talenworths is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Talenworths wants to control the pace but DeSouza is squirming around nicely.
Talenworths lands with some vicious ground and pound - can DeSouza hang on?
DeSouza tries to hold on but Talenworths postures up.
DeSouza manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Talenworths prevents DeSouza from improving his position.

DeSouza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Talenworths's guard.

Talenworths avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

DeSouza is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Talenworths wants to get back to his feet but DeSouza is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
DeSouza not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

DeSouza drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. DeSouza seems to have locked his on tight now - Talenworths screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for DeSouza, as he picks up the win!
