The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalawa misses with a straight left.
Mudada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Amumu Mudada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mudada ducks under a wild hook from Kalawa.
Kalawa scores with a jab to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mudada is defended easily by Kalawa.
Kalawa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Mudada seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kalawa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mudada's head.

and Kalawa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mudada's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kalawa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mudada scrambles back to his feet.
Kalawa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mudada had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Kalawa lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Kalawa throws a monster overhand right that drops Mudada! Kalawa follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
