The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Wera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brink pinned against the cage. Brink gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wera shoots in looking for a takedown but Brink manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wera's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wera scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Brink is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Team Finland that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brink can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brink is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wera's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Brink has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Wera is on him like a limpet, forcing Brink back against the cage.
Wera gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brink.
Wera is pressed up against the cage. Brink has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wera down to the mat. Wera avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
